Hot off the Press: Rock star vintner Charles Smith of Charles Smith Wines is moving his Walla Walla winery to Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood in 2015, where he’ll make his K Vinters, Charles Smith’s Sixto and Super Substance wines, as well as his Leighton and Latta personal brands in two large warehouses. In a recent Wine Spectator article Smith said: “That area has such heart and soul. It’s a historic settlement in Seattle, only 10 minutes from downtown. This puts me where I really want to be. We outgrew the winery in Walla Walla. Here’s a trailer about the upcoming winery.
