Fans and admirers of tiny Cafe Pettirosso on Capitol Hill already know about Monday’s Bake Sale day. But now there’s a twist – beginning on November 24th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. the cafe will be holding the first in a series of monthly paired dinners featuring fine libations such as Epic Brewing Company’s Belgian-style Ales, Bols Genever and Damrak gin. The a la carte dinner is focused on the featured brews including Cascioppo Brother’s Chicken Sausage braised in Epic Brewing Sour Apple Saison, and Vegan Pan Seared Brainless IPA Latke Cakes. If you are one of those people who, for some odd reason, decide to go out shopping the day after Thanksgiving and brave the world of other crazed bargain hunters then you might need a break from it all. Well RN74 is there for you and will be offering their weekday happy hour from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. on Friday the 28th. $6 gets you a variety of dishes including Burgundy beef sliders, Duck fat French fries and Grilled Barhi dates wrapped in lamb bacon. As an added bonus, slurp up $2 oysters shucked to order.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go on Thanksgiving and don’t feel like cooking at home you’ll be happy to know that the folks behind Chandler’s Crab House and Daniel’s Broiler are gearing up for the holiday and will be featuring 4-course Thanksgiving dinners at all of their locations next Thursday. Chandler’s will focus on the seafood, of course, and will feature dishes such as Whiskey Crab Soup and Crab Stuffed Prawns in addition to the requisite turkey for $48/pp. Daniel’s brings you Prime Rib and Maple Cured Pork Roast (plus turkey) with all the accoutrements for $55/pp. Children’s menus are also available for $12 if you are between 6-10 and free if you are under 5. Bonus – the Hawks/49ers game will be shown at both the Daniel’s Bellevue and Lake Union locations.
