If you are into Food and Sh*t then you’ll want to head to Inay’s for one of their increasingly popular pop-up dinners on Monday, November 17th. Here you’ll get Filipino soups and stews like Sabaw – touted as ‘the liquid soul of Filipino stew’. The evening will feature 5 different stews including traditional Filipino classics with a modern twist as well as a Cajun gumbo with Filipino flavors and Northwest seafood. Oh, and if you are celebrating your bachelor party you can get your Balut here as well. You’ll need it. Trust me.

If your childhood contains memories of tunnel-of-fudge cakes then you’ll be happy to learn that Nothing Bundt Cakes is coming to Issaquah on November 21st to the Commons Shopping Center. The occasion will be marked by festivities and ribbon-cutting ceremonies as well as an opportunity to win free ‘bundltets’ for a year (one per month) if you are one of the first 50 paying customers on Saturday the 22nd. Apparently, they can make anything with a bundt pan from 8” to 10” cakes, bite sized bundtini’s and cakes that serve up 18-20 people. They even have tiered bundt cakes. Wow.

Check out Seattle Cooks free event at South Seattle College between November 20th through the 22nd. They’ll be celebrating the 10th Annual Fall Wine Release at the Northwest Wine Academy. Each event will feature wine tastings, food pairings and the opportunity to meet with winemakers from the northwest.
