The Potala Marketplace is scheduled to open in the next six weeks in Everett, which will bring with it a new space to connect local agricultural businesses with our fine citizens. The space will include a year-round farmers market akin to the Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver, with a wide range of purveyors focused on produce, meat, and prepared foods. The developers also have had a hand in similar large-scale food projects such as San Francisco’s Ferry Building and Napa Valley’s Oxbow Market, so big things are expected up here in Everett.
