Capitol Hill’s Cafe Pettirosso hosts a pop up bazaar this coming Monday, December 15th at 6 p.m. featuring local artists and vintage curators. More New Year’s Eve events get announced every day and we can assume that many will fill up fast. Much ado has been made about the opening of John Sundstrom’s new incarnation of Lark and he’ll be ringing in the new year with a band (and bubbles). $110 gets you a four-course meal featuring dishes such as Rosti Potatoes with clabber cream, chives and smoked Steelhead caviar, Wagyu Hanger Steak with pommes de terre Robuchon and roasted shallot Syrah sauce, Bartlett Pear Tarte Tatin with Calvados caramel and vanilla bean ice cream. The bottle shop at Ballard Beer Co. opens this Saturday the 13th with a special event from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. They’ll be adding a wide selection of bottles to go along with their 15 rotating taps featuring local Washington brews.
