Ballard Ave. haunt Percy’s and Co. has officially launched their oyster themed happy hour which is aptly titled ‘Shuck It!’. For all you bad mothershuckers out there, head down to Percy’s on Wednesdays to slurp down some briny local crustaceans from Taylor Shellfish for only $1 apiece from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bonus: the team will also be serving up $6 shots of Jameson with half priced bottles of wine from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Now go say ‘shucking fools’ ten times really fast!
If your granddad is in town, or you want to pretend you’re high class, then head over to the Sip and Smoke event on February 27th at SPORT Restaurant and Bar where whiskey drinkers and cigar smokers will undoubtedly make countless Mad Men jokes while imbibing some of Washington’s finest distilled products. For $100, 60 lucky guests will taste six local whiskey’s as well as four from Kentucky’s Woodford Reserve personally blended by Chef John Howie. You’ll also get a Riedel etched whiskey glass, a Partagas 1845 cigar presented by Rain City Cigars, and a copy of Sip Northwest Magazine’s spirits issue. Not bad. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets beginning February 6, 2015 at 10:00am.

But no more – the place has been reinvented over the past year and with it comes new Chef Brendan O’Farrell who has a long and storied history in the world of food spanning the globe from Seattle to Singapore. The menu will focused on traditional pub fare from the British Isles as well as some American classics and French Canadian Poutine.
