The burgeoning interest in Korean cuisine continues with the latest announcement of Korean Steakhouse Girin set to open in Pioneer Square this Saturday night. Seattle Met magazine reports that partners Cody Burns and Steven Han are opening the spot with former Tavolata and Rione XIII chef Brandon Kirksey manning the pass. The restaurant will feature ssam plates as well as an in-house butchery program with, of course, a lot of grilled meat. Here’s to more unusual flavors coming to Seattle!
