1.Tickets are now on sale for the next Kiss My Grits pop-up, to be held on May 18 at Bloom. The $25 entry gets you all-you-can-eat Frogmore Stew, or low-country boil, a Southern classic with crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn.
2. Oliver’s Twist, the Phinney Ridge spot for cocktails and small plates, is expanding to Magnolia, reports Seattle Met. The owners hope to open by mid-June in the former Nook spot at 3217 W McGraw.
3. Hilliard’s is hosting a release party tonight for their seasonal copper lager, Chrome Satan, starting at 7 p.m. in the brewery’s Ballard taproom. Plum Bistro will be on hand serving seitan and The Bad Things will be providing the tunes.
