The guys behind Seattle’s beloved Kraken Congee pop-up will be on CNBC’s Resataurant Kickstart this summer as they try to sell their food concept to investors/restauranteurs Joe Bastianich and Tim Love. 2. Starting today, a new grocery delivery program guarantees it can delivery groceries from multiple stores within one hour. The service is called Instacart, and it allows customers to order groceries online with delivery turnaround in just 60 minutes. Vinyl record-themed bar Revolver, which took over Dinette’s space, will open for its first day of business tomorrow.

4. The Atlantic ran an article discussing sea walls, mentioning that not all coastal cities can afford to build a shiny new one like Seattle is. Instead, they can rely on oyster reefs to help cut down incoming waves from mega-storms.
