1. Parchment, a bakery pop up at Brimmer & Heeltap, met with great success at its first event. Pastry chef Laura Pyles has announced her second pop up for her bakery, set for Easter morning (April 20). Via Facebook, she’ll be selling special Easter treats along with “extra breakfasty items to suit demand.”

2. Top Pot is opening a 16th location on the second level of The Post, above Post Alley, according to Seattle Magazine. As with the other locations, this new spot will have 38 varieties of doughnuts, plus a new pour-over coffee bar with single-origin beans. The store will open sometime this spring.

3. The Maple Leaf Grill has announced on its Facebook page it will be closing on May 23. The restaurant was in business for 25 years.

4. The SoHo bakery that started the cronut phenomenon was briefly shuttered for mouse infestation. A patron posted a video on YouTube of a mouse running through the Dominique Ansel Bakery. Health Department officials subsequently closed the bakery for professional pest removal.
