1. My Sweet Lil Cakes is passing out free hotcakes on a stick on Valentine’s Day. Feb. 14 also marks the food truck’s first birthday, and to celebrate the first 40 customers of the day will score a sweet or savory impaled pancake of their choosing. The tangerine orange truck will be parked at Westlake Park downtown from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

3. SPORT Restaurant in SLU hosts a hockey night every Wednesday right up through the Stanley Cup Finals. Drink specials include four bottles of B.C.-brewed Kokanee in a bucket for $6.

4. Aragona is now open for happy hour. Drink specials and $3 to $10 eats (homemade potato chips with wildflower honey, mushroom revuelto) are offered to the after work crowd from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. every day except Sunday.
