Popular gluten-free bakery Nuflours has announced the start of a weekly pop-up while it works on its bricks-and-mortar bakeshop in the former North Hill Bakery space on Capitol Hill. Owners Amanda Bedell and Phebe Rossi have a working kitchen ready in the space, so they’ll be selling ice cream sandwiches, bread, and pastries outside the shop starting Friday from 7 to 10 a.m. and from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The bakery has also announced a line-up of classes for the summer, including knife skills and gluten-free pizza baking. 3. Hilliard’s Beer is hosting a fundraiser Saturday called The Summer Chill, with proceeds benefiting Chill Seattle, a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for at risk and underserved youth to build self-esteem and life skills through boards sports.
