1. Hiroshi’s Restaurant hosts its final Jazz and Sushi Night tomorrow from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. The Eastlake eatery has been featuring live jazz on Fridays for more than seven years. Chef/owner Hiroshi Egashira is planning to move into a larger catering kitchen next month.
2. Eater reports that Capitol Hill’s 8oz Burger Bar is coming to Ballard and changing its name (ever so slightly).
3. We reported earlier this week that Renee Erickson’s new apertivo bar adjacent to The Walrus and the Carpenter had officially opened according to a reliable source. Indeed they have, and they’ll be serving cold plates like octopus terrine and serrano ham, as well as wines, apertifs and digestivs. Check out their Facebook page for more info.
