1. Gluten-free brunch starts up this Saturday, January 25 at Capitol Cider. In addition to offering lunch, dinner and one of the biggest selections of bottled and draft ciders in the US, the Capitol Hill watering hole is serving breakfast and “lunch-type” eats. The menu includes apple and pork sausage with grits and garlic-braised greens and corn cakes with crumbled bacon, maple butter and shredded apples. Brunch will be served on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

2. A new Mexican spot is headed for Lower Queen Anne this summer. Queen Anne View reports that the family-owned Agave Cocina & Tequilas is planning to open its doors by May in the new EXPO building.
