1. Food truck pods are reappearing in South Lake Union after the tangle of construction drove them away. You’ll find a rotating cast of at least three trucks parked across the street from Toyota of Seattle in the former Enterprise Rental Car lot. Seattlefoodtrucks.com has the lineup.

2. The flurry of new Capitol Hill restaurant announcements is still going strong. The latest is Stateside, from first-time restaurateur Eric Johnson. The restaurant will open this fall at 300 E. Pike and will blend Vietnamese and French cuisine, according to Capitol Hill Seattle.

3. Tax day got you down? Hard Rock Cafe Seattle is offering quite the pick-me-up, with the chance to sing for your supper on April 15. From 5 to 7 PM, diners who sing a song with the live band on the cafe’s stage will receive their entree for free.
