1. Trophy Cupcakes & Party just announced that it will open its sixth shop at the end of the month inside the sparkly new Husky Stadium. You can start buying purple and gold cakelets (inside grab-and-go boxes if you please) beginning August 31 on the main north concourse outside the 50-yard line.

2. Theo Chocolate in Fremont is hosting its yearly S’mores Days next Thursday and Friday. From 12:00 to 6:00 pm August 8 and 9, Theo is selling factory-fresh s’mores made with homemade graham crackers. $1 of every $4 purchase goes to support Food Lifeline.

3. Bringing air plants and rustic kitchen tables to the masses, West Elm is throwing an ice cream social. Molly Moon’s will be passing out free scoops ice cream sandwiches to the first 250 customers at the South Lake Union store on Saturday, August 10 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

4. A Lynnwood-based supplier of all things required to make a cup of mud in your kitchen is opening a new store on the Eastside next month. Seattle Coffee Gear will launch its second location in Bellevue come September: The space will feature several espresso machines ready to test drive and a demo/event bar.
