1. Maison Tavern opens its doors tonight in SoDo. Sharing a space with sibling nightclub Aston Manor, the cocktail bar morphs into a VIP area when Aston Manor is in full swing. You might want to check out the house rules before heading over. The basics? No cell phones, no flash photography and “no ordering a ‘Sex on the Beach.’” Hours are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.

3. Check out this trailer for the first episode of “Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking,” a new 13-episode PBS show airing on KCTS at the very off time of Thursdays at 12:30 am. 4. Chef/sake sommelier Mutsuko Soma of Miyabi 45th will host three sake brewers from Japan for a special dinner on Thursday, October 17th. The $65 per person meal includes six courses paired with six sakes. Call 206-632-4545 for reservations.
