1. Bar Cantinetta is ready to open its doors in the previous La Cote location at 2811 E Madison St. in Madison Valley. According to Eater, the quaint new sibling to Cantinetta’s Wallingford and Bellevue locations launches tonight. The space features communal seating, a handful of bar seats and small tables with small plates to match. Fresh pastas, an entree and seasonal cocktails round out the menu.

2. Olaf’s softly opens today in the space that previously housed the Copper Gate by a trio of CG regulars. The owners have taken the ship out of the middle of the room to expand the bar (thumbs down) but added a pinball room (two thumbs up!) in back. Hours will be 11:00 am to 2:00 am every day of the week. My Ballard has the details.

3. Ba Bar installed its new slushy machine in the nick of time–the 12th Ave. Vietnamese spot is pouring two new boozy, icy end-of-summer drinks starting today. Labor Day weekend’s featured frozen cocktails include Poivre Punch with Prosecco and the Old Country with Amaro CioCiaro and blackberry liqueur. Remember to sip rather than gulp if you want to avoid a tipsy brain freeze.

4. Local 360 is full-on embracing the bacon trend that just won’t die, and why not? Bacon Happy Hour returns to the Belltown eatery this afternoon from 3:00 till 6:00 pm. Expect bacon-centric everything, including cocktails. You can reserve a table by emailing reservations@local360.org.
