1. What’s happening at this weekend’s Nocturnal Illusions Halloween Party at Two Beers Brewing/Seattle Cider Company? Burlesque/boylesque performances, fire dancing, scary movie screenings, a costume contest, an appearance by Phoenix Jones, food trucks and a lot of adult beverages, that’s what. The party is planned for this Saturday from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am, details here. If you’re looking for something a little more mellow, Two Beers is throwing its sixth anniversary party 11/2.
2. In other beer news, Stoup Brewing joined the Ballard Brewery scene this week. Stoup’s tap room is open from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday, 4:00 to 9:00 pm Fridays, noon to 9:00 am Saturday and noon to 8:00 pm Sundays.
3. Work in the restaurant industry? Agrodolce in Fremont is hosting a post-SRW (Seattle Restaurant Week) brunch this Sunday from 10:00 am till 2:30 pm. For $25 bucks, professional food folk can nosh on bread pudding bites, semolina waffles, fresh soft-boiled eggs with pancetta and more while sipping all-you-can-drink mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. Regular brunch will still be served to the general public.
