You observant types may have noticed that Voracious looks different this morning. Weird, right?
We’re in the thick of a massive internal system switch over, which is the digital equivalent of a car getting a new transmission or a person getting a new heart. It’s tricky business, and there are bound to be complications. We know you’re bearing the brunt of them, and we apologize if the comments system is poky or you can’t find a story in the archives. Please know we’ve got a crack team of experts working to resolve the problems.
As for the appearance of the blog, that’s here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future. While it may take a few days for your eyes to adjust, I can assure you the strong reporting and writing you’ve come to expect from our contributors will live on here. Although our posting schedule may be slightly abridged in the short term, we’re not making any cuts in the quality department. Thank you for continuing to read, and for your patience as we weather these technical difficulties.
And, speaking of technical difficulties, feel free to contact me if you run into trouble. I can’t promise I’ll be able to find you the story you’re seeking, but I’ll do my best to help.
Or if you’d rather avoid technical issues entirely, it’s another great week to read the print edition. In addition to my review of Stumbling Goat (if you haven’t visited in a few years, now’s a good time to go), the issue includes the Voracious Dining Guide. You’ll want a copy to help you plan your future dining adventures. Onward, eaters.
