Want to play a game?I know you do. So this week, we’re rolling out a couple new features on Voracious. The first of these is what’s soon to become everyone’s favorite gastronomical guessing game: Guess Where I’m Eating. And this is how it works.See that delicious picture above? That was taken by yours truly, at a local restaurant just moments before said curds were devoured. All you have to do is guess what it is and where I ate it. Simple, right?Yes, well this one certainly is. As with all good games, we’re going to start easy and then quickly ramp up the difficulty until (hopefully) it becomes a challenge to even you most food-obsessed Seattleites (Seattleoids? Seattlers? Whatever…). Now in a normal round all you’d see is a picture, and maybe a couple clues, such as:These curds were made fresh in the restaurant where I purchased them.They are a vital component on a popular dish served at a different restaurant just a block up the hill.The restaurant where I got them rhymes with “Schmeecher’s Schandmade Schmeeze”Again, under normal circumstances, the clues will probably not be so simple either. As a matter of fact, I’m going to be doing my damndest to make this as difficult as possible for you. But the mechanics of the game will always be the same: I post a snap, you make a guess, and the smartest, fastest, most well-fed food sleuths out there will win–bragging rights for right now, but hopefully, in the future, we’ll have actual prizes to give away to the best and quickest guessers.
