Tom Douglas is at it again. He has signed a lease for a space in the Martin Apartments at Fifth Avenue and Lenora Street and plans to open a Mexican cantina and bar serving fresh corn tortillas. He has not yet announced an open date.


Capitol Hill’s new Sunset Electric building will be home to Paul Reder’s newest project, a restaurant with a beer focus called Stout. The 5,700-square-foot restaurant should open this fall or winter.


Popular bubble-tea spot Oasis Tea Zone will open a new location on Capitol Hill between Stumptown and Fogon on Pine Street. This will be the chain’s fourth store. E morningfoodnews@gmail.com
