The authors of The Ethnic Paris Cookbook, Charlotte Puckette and Olivia Kiang-Snaije, visit the Kirkland Sur La Table to give a cooking lesson from their new book, at 6:30 p.m. TONIGHT (Friday, April 20).Their cook book explores the many cuisines that find their home in Paris, from Vietnamese to African to Caribbean. The menu for this hands-on class includes tomato salad with garlic and (exotic Moroccan) argan oil, Kibbeh Nayye (a sort of tabouli) made with salmon, and Vietnamese spiced beef rolled in la lot leaves. $80 (includes a copy of the book). 90 Central Way, 425-827-1311.
