Thaiku is opening a pop-up restaurant in Copper Gate.Good news for fans of Thaiku and its bar Fu Kun Wu. The beloved Ballard establishment, which closed at the end of last year, is setting up a pop-up restaurant at Copper Gate on Thursday, May 31 from 5 p.m. to midnight. The menu will include several of Thaiku’s most popular dishes, as well as Fu Kun Wu’s signature cocktails. Until Thaiku finds a new space to open permanently, more pop-ups at Copper Gate can be expected.In other news, Eater Seattle reports that both locations of I Love New York Deli — in Pike Place Market and University District — are now closed. The reason remains unknown.
