St. Clouds at 1131 34th Ave. in Madrona is donating a large portion of the proceeds from tomorrow night’s dinner service to local young adult shelter Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets. The restaurant at 1131 34th Ave. also hosts a community cooking event to prepare a fresh meal for the homeless each month: The next is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to donations from the Neighborhood Cooking Foundation and nearby restaurants Naam and the Hi Spot, the restaurant accepts fresh food, staples and “flavor bursts” from the public on the day before or morning of the cooking.
