seattle.eater.comMacleod’s Scottish Pub is now open at 5200 Ballard Avenue NW. It currently offers over 50 kinds of whiskey, with plans to expand that number to 100. Macleod’s promises to be a go-to for rare, single malt scotches as its three conceptualizers visited Scotland in October to tour authentic pubs and distilleries for inspiration. Greenwood Market at 8500 3rd Ave. NW is closing Feb. 4, as reported by Phinneywood. The Greenwood Market building will subsequently be demolished so the neighboring Fred Meyer can expand. The possibility of an alternative location for the Greenwood Market remains unconfirmed.
