Responding to the news that Crave, one of my favorite Capitol Hill

Responding to the news that Crave, one of my favorite Capitol Hill spots for brunch, has been kicked out of its space with only a month’s notice — sounds like a big tenant is coming in to take over for CHAC/Crave, or else the owner has building-razing plans — the Central District News blog is posting a novel appeal: Come to our neighborhood. Complete with pictures of prospective locations. The two buildings in the middle? Wayyyy too ugly. But Crave’s owners aren’t the only restaurateurs who might want to pay attention to the fact that the Central District wants for more restaurants. In the space of one year, 12th and Pike has become oversaturated, people. Time to look south of Madison.
