Photo by Steven MillerAs this past week’s review demonstrated, I wasn’t impressed by Artisanal Table, Terrance Brennan’s casual wine bar and pizzeria in the Bravern shopping complex. However, the cheese was fantastic. So I’ve been thinking about sneaking back in sometime — not to go to Artisanal Table but to sit at the cheese bar at its sister restaurant down the hall, Artisanal Brasserie.Steven MillerThat bar, staffed by a cheese steward who presumably knows much more than our waiter next door, offers three-cheese plates for $12.50, happy hour cheese and charcuterie plates for $20.50 (pictured at right), and paired cheese-and-wine flights for $28.50. It’s perhaps the only part of Brennan’s two-restaurant complex that’s packed.
