More than 160 area eateries are participating in Seattle Restaurant Week October 13–17 and 20–24. A full list of restaurants offering $28 three-course dinners and $15 three-course lunches is online.

2bar Spirits hosts a bourbon release party this Saturday in SoDo. 2bar is the first area distillery to produce a 100 percent local Seattle bourbon.

The Broadway Farmers Market is no longer closing from January through March. The market at Pike and Broadway will run on Sundays from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. all year long.

Kraken Congee is popping up at Blackboard Bistro in West Seattle this Monday, Oct. 21 from 5–9 p.m. Eats include smoked turkey congee with foraged mushrooms and cranberry and quinoa congee with roasted winter squash and kale.

Triumph Bar launched in Lower Queen Anne on the ground floor of apartment complex Expo. They serve more than 300 bottles of vino and craft cocktails.

Quadrato opened in West Seattle. The pizza and sandwich shop’s dessert menu includes the “Bopporino.” (That’s peanut butter smeared on top of a Hostess Ding Dong.)

Ballard’s Golden Beetle doubled the size of its happy-hour menu. Bites include fried pistachios and chickpea and lemon stew. Six specialty cocktails are up for grabs for $8 as well. The new menu runs every day from 5–6 p.m. food@seattleweekly.com
