Miley loves her Robeks!

It’s all about new neighbors this week.

Care to cool off with a guava juice-mango-orange sherbet concoction? My Green Lake reports that a franchise of California-based gourmet smoothie shop Robeks is coming to the Circa Green Lake Building, come August/ September. Also on the menu: Wraps, sandwiches, and salads.

Too healthy? If you prefer your eats loaded with butter and wine (read: French), Chef Thierry Rautureau opened his new venture Luc at the corner of Madison Street and 28th Avenue East last Friday. The bistro focuses on more casual fare (burgers, bourguignon) than his upscale restaurant Rover’s.

In beverage-related news, a new winery is moving into Madrona’s Wilridge Winery building at 1416 34th Avenue, come mid-May. Bottlehouse – tasting bar, shoppe, urban winery will serve local wine, cured meats, and cheeses, plus feature an outdoor deck that seats 40. Green Bean Coffee House, the popular cafe burned down by an arsonist last fall, hopes to open its new location at 8553 Greenwood Avenue North by the end of June. And Emerald City Beer Company is coming to the old Rainier Brewery at 3100 Airport Way South by June/ July, marking the first time brewing has returned to the venue in 10 years.

Cheers to all that!
