Looks like Tony’s Market (9050 35th Ave. S.W.) is back open for the season, what with El Nino’s warm winter weather. The West Seattle blog reported the grand opening yesterday, noting that the hours will be from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. See what the Weekly’s Mike Seely had to say about Tony’s last year.

On the top of Queen Anne, 21+ Flow Lounge (2 Boston St.) has just opened its doors. The Queen Anne View kept readers up to date about the mysterious signs that appeared on the windows after its predecessor, Opal, closed last Halloween. The new lounge will still be operated by Opal’s owners, and offer a variety of small bites and cocktails.

In Central District news, Cafe Char (2314 E. Madison) will be closed temporarily. According to the blog, Char received a job offer and decided to move to the East Coast, leaving the business behind. The Seattle Times reported that its proprietor, Endanchy Girma, will reopen the business in March under the same name, although it is uncertain whether she purchased the business directly from Char herself. Voracious will post an update as more information becomes available.
