Koji Osakaya, the Japanese restaurant on the Harbor Steps, has just closed. I liked Koji’s cold fox noodles, but had otherwise eaten middling meals there, and the restaurant always seemed to languish. The sign on the door reads, “Thank you for supporting Koji Osakaya Japanese Restaurant in Seattle. Unfortunately, we are closing this current location. However, we hope to see you around local Kojis in the future.” According to its website, the Koji Osakaya chain has six other locations in the Portland area. I’ve put a call in to the corporate offices, and will update this post if the owners have any more information about future local Kojis.
