Jason Wilson of Miller’s Guild (and soon to close Crush) will appear on “Knife Fight” on August 5th. The cooking competition show on the Esquire Network hosted by Ilan Hall (Top Chef Season 2 Winner) is a culinary throwdown with a rotating cast of guest chefs faced with some crazy ingredients. Wilson goes up against Greg Denton of Portland’s Ox.
August 10th is National S’mores Day, so Hot Cakes is featuring the gooey campfire treat from Friday through Sunday, August 8 – 10. The chefs of Kraken Congee pop-up and recent winners on CNBC’s reality show, “Restaurant Startup,” are teaming up with online meals marketplace Lish to deliver their beloved congee to Seattle residents. Kraken will feature a rotating menu on Lish starting with dishes like Korean Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin on Kimchi Congee and Pork Belly Adobo with Lugaw congees. To kick things off, they’re offering a special dessert on the house for the first 10 orders on Lish.
