But this doesn’t mean he’s tired of the taste of a good Mary. Far from it. In fact, we asked him to pick five of his favorite local Bloody Marys. (And no, some of these places don’t even use his mix.) In no particular order, Demitri likes:Oliver’s: “They do a wonderful Bloody Mary. And they infuse their vodka with herbs and spices, and it’s just beautiful stuff. “King’s Hardware: “A great, consistent Bloody Mary. The right amount of seasoning.”Duke’s Chowder House: “Another great Bloody Mary, and they garnish their Mary’s with prawns. Nice.”Ray’s Boathouse: “An institution in Seattle. They hire good bartenders and that makes a difference.”The Viking: “This is the place my buddies would pick. In fact, I’m headed there after talking to you.”
