Homegrown no. 3 is heading to Queen Anne.

Once again, here’s your weekly restaurant news report…

Greenwood residents will gain a Mediterranean restaurant, The Olive and Grape, at 8516 Greenwood Avenue tomorrow evening.

A Neapolitan style pizzeria called Queen Margherita at 3111 W. McGraw also opens tomorrow, according to The Magnolia Voice.

My Wallingford reports that an East Coast-style hot dog eatery called – wait for it – Doggy Style Hot Dogs is expected to open at 4455 Stone Way North by month’s end.

Queen Anne will see sustainable sandwich shop Homegrown at 2201 Queen Avenue North, come November. The popular eatery currently has locations in Capitol Hill and Fremont.

Over on the Eastside, Woodinville Whiskey opened over the weekend for tours and tastings at 16110 Woodinville-Redmond Road Suite 3. Cheers.

Lastly and sadly, John’s Wok at 1100 Western Avenue downtown – the closest convenience store to the Seattle Weekly office – has closed. Be sure to read Mike Seely’s tribute to a sorely missed establishment.
