Hello, sugar rush! Sweets from Theo Chocolate, a cakelet decoration station, and a cupcake-and-cotton candy mashup will be served at Saturday’s release party for Jennifer Shea’s new recipe collection Trophy Cupcakes & Parties. Carmelita has published a drink-recipe collection via Amazon’s Createspace to help support its staff severance fund. The vegetarian restaurant will donate proceeds from Carmelita Cocktails to team members after closing its doors this Sunday. Copies are available online and at the restaurant. Two dozen restaurants are taking part in Feast at the Market on October 1. The self-guided taste tour at Pike Place Market runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and includes eats from Seatown and Marche. All proceeds benefit Neighborcare Health’s Pike Market Medical Clinic.
