Happy hour just got a little bit happier for lovers of Italian snack food. Cicchetti, the snack bar extension of Serafina, now hosts a happy hour Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Seattle Met magazine reports. They’re offering foods like Moroccan-spiced popcorn and Greek-style fries with feta yogurt, and drinks that include a $5 list of specialty cocktails like the Isole: vodka, hibiscus syrup, lemon, and iced tea.Fans of ’60s architecture raised a stink last year when a crew tore down the “historic” Ballard Denny’s after the Seattle Landmarks and Preservation Board voted that preserving it was not economically feasible. Now a buyer has signed a letter of intent to purchase it, according to My Ballard. No word yet on what the buyer plans to do with the site.
