Queen Anne residents expressed concerns over the opening of 5 Corners Mini Mart earlier this month, due to it having signs advertising cheap cigarettes and booze. Its owner Steve Park decided to avoid the drama-rama and swapped them to out for ones that touted organic ice cream and organic coffee. His now family-friendly mini mart opened for business this weekend. You can buy Bluebird ice cream from there, too.

Over on Capitol Hill, a new banh mi stand that sells items for $5 and under opened at 1509 East Madison Street earlier this week. Baguette is open daily from 11 am. to 2 p.m., but they hope to soon extend their hours.
