With all these new ice cream shops opening up, I can’t help but wonder what will happen during the cold, dark winter months ahead. Is the ice cream industry recession-proof and winter-proof? I recently wrote a story about how more people are selling ice cream by the truck this summer, but sales have plummeted, regardless. I guess that is where tea comes in for Bluebird. I wouldn’t mind getting cozy with some tea there this winter, mostly because they did such a fantastic job of designing the place. It’s vintage and chic with hardwood floors and wispy bird art lining the walls.
