With over 15 records and nearly a quarter century (23 years!) together, its no wonder Jersey-born indie rockers Yo La Tengo are known for never playing the same set twice. They dont quite have the underground bootleg library the Dead have, but if they did, tonights show would surely be a hot commodity on the trade circuit. Town Hall is an ideal locale for a special program intended to break the audience/artist barrier with a rare acoustic set (working with last years winning I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass) and freewheeling extras like storytelling (a recent show in Indiana produced anecdotes from the band on everything from naked men to their performance on The Simpsons) and audience requests.
