I e-mailed Jeffery Taylor over at Wall of Sound about the mysterious “Soul Food Pinata,” and never heard back, hopefully because he has his hands full selling you stuff like Lichens and Pop Ambient 2008 as Christmas presents. However! Aja had uncovered this mystery months ago, in an interview with Taylor, who disclosed SFP as one of his musical projects (along with Climax Golden Twins, Spider Trio, and Liverburst). This incarnation of twistedly talented individuals is billed as the WoS and Rendezvous holiday house band, “psychedelic power trio action from a couple of old farts and one whippersnapper!” Check out what these intuitive merchants do in their free time, preferably with a mug of highly-spiked eggnog.
