*Justin Timberlake/Christina Aguilera So now these two are hanging out. This must be what senior year is like at Palm Springs High.

*Vans Warped Tour with Andrew W.K., Sevenfold, Glassjaw, Pennywise, Rancid, Talib Kweli, the Use, and more . . . and once again, this particular ticket would be a hell of a lot more engaging as a round-robin, full-cage, loser-get-outta-town rasslin’ match. Which, knowing Messr. W.K., it might just turn out to be. Wear red, just in case.

*Dixie Chicks What with the nude EW cover and the radio boycotts and the CD steamrolling and all, a lot of us are having to eat crow about the ol’ Dix Chix . . . evidently they’re scarier than Marilyn Manson, at least in some quarters. All of a sudden, mainstream country music is sort of interesting again.

*Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Lucinda Williams In case you’ve missed it, Williams’ World Without Tears is the ragged gem of the season. And many years ago, when someone complained of Crazy Horse, “Those guys can’t play,” Neil reportedly came back with the victory shot: “Well, they can’t play with you.” No finer, more beautifully tattered evening could you hope for.

*Irish Tenors . . . no, no, wait: The Irish Tenors vs. the Vans Tour. That would be a hell of a rasslin’ match.
