Packed with emotional intensity, Eric Bogosians story of modern alienation is starkly rendered under Beau Prichards direction. Five friends, drinking their nights away in Nowheresville, await a reunion with former classmate Pony, now a rising rock star on tour. His return throws their dead-end lives into painful relief, igniting tensions that burn incandescently against their bland backdrop. Hope, fear, and brutal honesty intertwine until each becomes a foil for the others as they struggle to realize their dreams or escape their inadequacies. While Bogosians plot can be a bit overbearing a times, solid acting and a minimalist set successfully combine for an evocative and raw performance. NEIL CORCORAN 8 p.m. Fri.-Sat., 6 p.m. Sun.
