Screens are a trippy West Seattle four-to-five piece with a very relaxed demeanor, and aqueous songwriting that drifts with their mood. They play up the spaciness (there’s a high likelihood you’ll see a (fake!) astronaut’s helmet on SOMEbody with an instrument), and they are quirky in their approach, but their songs have a distinct pop flavor that feels good on the palette regardless of your adventurousness. There are notes of dream-pop, light dub, and electro-lounge in their keyboard-heavy blend, held together by Afrocop member Carlos Tulloss’ dexterous bass licks, and Allison Tulloss’ calm vocal stylings.
