New Moves Concert 2007

New works by emerging dance artists

Cornish College’s dance department introduces its emerging dance and choreography students to Seattle audiences this weekend in their New Moves Concert 2007—part of a curriculum that includes study with leading Seattle choreographers and encouragement to participate in Seattle’s professional dance community during their time at Cornish. Works by eleven student choreographers are on the bill, including a quartet by Marikeith Wiley set to music by the Bangles, Miranda Chisholm-Sims’ duet to live piano by Scott Williams, and a two-part piece titled Two Lives, choreographed by Zhenjun Zhang.
