Six names guaranteed to make you laugh: Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. Arthurian legends have never been treated with such impudent silliness as in Monty Python’s 1975 geek comedy classic, later turned a Broadway smash. Substituting coconut shells to clip-clop in place of actual horses, playing multiple characters each, the Pythons merrily run amok through Camelot and other mythic locales. Cleese playing the French tower guard remains a highlight among highlights; don’t pretend you don’t already know all the lines.
