This repertory series concludes continues with Liza Minnelli in the 1972 Cabaret (at 6:50 and 9:10 p.m.), which won her an Oscar among the film’s seven other statuettes. Based on Christopher Isherwood’s original stories of life in Weimar Berlin (later a play, I Am a Camera, then the musical with songs by Kander and Ebb), the film was a breakthrough for director Bob Fosse, who choreographed the Kit Kat Club stage numbers with all the verve he brought to Broadway shows. Joel Grey also scored an Oscar as the fey, monocled emcee. (NR) BRIAN MILLER
