Boutique hotels can be a lot of fun, with their perks and all—just ask anybody who’s been to Portland’s Jupiter Hotel on a Saturday night. It’s not rock and roll like the Ace or edgy-elegant like the Alexis, but they host two to three wine tastings each week, and each room is dedicated to a local winery and vineyard.
