In a sketchy-looking, poorly-lit parking lot off Pike lies the entrance to Havana, a hot little club with high ceilings and nothing to do with Cuba. Though weekend evenings mostly feature a packed crowd of sweaty, writhing 20-somethings, weeknights feature many fewer sweaty, writhing 20-somethings. If you havent been kidnapped to Havana yet, try Back Door Thursday(s). Drink, dance, chat, scope, and drink more. This week includes music by DJs Sol Calderon and Wesley Holmes. As one anonymous Internet poster so aptly put it, The Back Door is the shit. Tip: if you RSVP via email (backdoor@covad.net) by 5 p.m., theres no cover charge.
