Blue Bottles latest group show, Creatures, Creeps, and Critters: The Creatives Behind BlueFlip Art, is where the wild things are. But first, what is BlueFlip Art? Think of it as an Amazon.com for indie artists, designed to reach you, the educated consumer, directly via your favorite shopping portalthe Web. Still, this exhibition (through July 30) demands to be seen in person. Here youll encounter Mama Toast warning her baby slices of toast to behave. And meet Satan leering at you with his gold-capped grin. Four members of the BlueFlip collective are represented: Pasadenas Jen Lobo, Mexico Citys Alberto Cerriteno, Londons Si Clark, and Rotterdams Sauerkids. Lobo prefers elegant oil paintings, while Clark opts for 2D animation. Its the sort of stuff people take shrooms to see, and you can order samples here or in the privacy of your own home.
